Both pairs are 75 percent cotton, 24 percent polyester and 1 percent spandex, in a dark blue wash. Both sit mid rise and have five pockets. The mid waist baggy jean has a straight wide leg and the longer size run of the two. The vintage wide leg jean closes with a button over a zip fly and carries a faded, lived-in wash.
Size by your natural waist: a size 2 fits a 26 inch waist, and each size adds an inch. A boyfriend jean should sit easy at the hip. If you feel it pulling across your seat when you sit, go up one number rather than two.
